Convoys VN.1 to VN.7 sailed from Malta to Naples in October 1943. Subsequently, until November 1944 (VN.76) the series ran mainly from Augusta, Sicily to Naples. Then, until May 1945 the series ran from Naples to Leghorn, Italy. See also the the reverse NV series.
